humanizes the file before it is scheduled; omitted, the performance plays exactly as written. Use MidiPlayer.create to have this applied, or call humanizeMidi first.

voices one scheduled note; defaults to audio.playTone

sends the file's raw messages to this synth as time passes instead of playing a tone per note; the synth's own output is pulled by whoever owns its render (an audio node, a worker host), so play, waveform and volume do not apply
